to be Governed

To be governed … is to be watched, inspected, directed, indoctrinated, numbered, estimated, regulated, commanded, controlled, law-driven, preached at, spied upon, censured, checked, valued, enrolled – by creatures who have neither the right, nor the wisdom, nor the virtue to do so.
– Pierre-Joseph Proudhon

Maybe we’re not a republican democracy any more?
The deal with the czars really bugs me.
Obama still has sky high approval, but Congress is looking downhill.
No, we haven’t been asleep too long, we’ll just have to stay awake through the Change that IS happening, so we’ll be awake when it’s time for immediate decapitation of the czar head.
(“Change the IS happening” sounds so menopausal.)
