This beach, popular for its Cape May diamonds, is a mile and a half down the straight road from where my mother’s house was, when I was in school. Brothers would take me there for the gorgeous sunsets (really like a -huge- red rubber ball), to chat with Mr Hume and sometimes watch the flag lowering.
