We no who, you know who, the question is when will they start breaking out the vials of swine flu? We are in the early, maybe middle days of Hitler. J.C.

under bush we had the erosion of habeus corpus and indefinite detention, unconstitutional warantless wiretaps, setting aside the geneva conventions and torture, and a war in iraq without cause.
and only now, they complain about “attacking democracy” based on obama’s desire to provide medical insurance to all americans?

Bush wasn’t so hot either, was he?
Some of the voices pointing out the attack on democracy, and the problems with Obama’s medical insurance, or health care reform, are the same voices that cried foul with Bush.
Doesn’t matter who’s president or which party rules Washington. What matters is recognizing what’s going on and speaking up, whether you agree or not. As long as we remain a representative republic and have the liberty to voice our concerns without fear of reprisal, it behooves us to exercise our Rights.
This article isn’t news. It’s a National Guard ad.

There’s already prisons for U.S.military. Interring foreign civilians? POWs? It’s rather obvious that non-citizen civilians won’t be the interred military prisoners.

It does leave a question, doesn’t it? Who is to be interred?

That’s such an unpleasant thought, being in the days of Hitler!
I can guess who. I do hope other alternatives show up because I don’t like my guess!

In our current financial crisis, why are the camps being manned? prisons are for the convicted.

That’s an excellent question. We’ll need to keep our ears open for the answer.
