Charles Djou is the outgoing US Representative from Hawaii’s 1st Congressional District. A Republican, he won in a special election to finish the term of Neil Abercrombie, a democrat who is now Governor of Hawaii. (No comment.)

Well it is clear that as an island the concept of socialism has taken hold. Hawaii will be among the states to go bankrupt in the not to distant future. Their answer, raise hotel fees, additional bed taxes, more taxes and fees, and people will just say, you know what, there is a hell of a lot of the forty eight I haven’t seen yet. They call it Plantation Mentality, where the Plantation Owner takes care of its workers. Like in the old South. And “Change you can believe in”
Everything we use, as in *everything*, is shipped in from somewhere. 2011 will ring in 25% increase in the cost of transporting cargo. That means *everything* from cars to building supplies, food to toilet paper, will see 25% increase in cost. Well, lumber and a few other things will be only 15% higher.
Must begin the New Year right, reconnecting with the tears from laughing you always cause!!!
