For security reasons these scans are needed.But they are not going to show our inner parts of body.They also maintaining our privacy.

For better security reasons, efficient profiling would greatly reduce the Politically Correct payment extracted from the millions of us who travel without explosives.
There are news reports about the inner body scanning. First one I saw was from Reuters.
What privacy are they maintaining? Who are “they”?
